SoCal Ghosts scenario paintball team originated from a diverse group of people who knew each other through a friend of a friend of a friend...then they all got Xboxes. Ghost Recon became the game of choice and every Friday the group would gather to assault each other on Xbox Live!

A few of the group had paintball as a long time hobby and started inviting the Xbox group to come out and sling paint. It made sense that virtual bullet slinging would translate well to paint slinging.

The friends came out and paint was slung about quite vigorously, and it was good.

After a few times welting each other at Velocity Paintball Park and a few road trips to SC Village, many of the Xbox crew had gotten their own equipment and were starting to feed a growing addiction. Some of the crew started lurking in Paintball Forums and found out that there was such a thing as Scenario Paintball...and you could have tanks! Tanks!

The next TAW Paintball Event “Lost Battalion” was attended by some of the Xbox crew. They came back and spread the word and it was decided that the path of the righteous was Scenario Paintball.

Now if we could just get a good name...Fumunda Cheeseheads was considered and dismissed. Geek Squad was already trademarked...what could we name this band of Ghost Recon Xbox Warriors from Southern California....

Thus, SoCal Ghosts Scenario Paintball Team was born.
