I think we're good with props they are all done, but I haven't heard back from Jetser yet on his coconuts. _________________ There's someone in the gift shop!!!
Hey guys
Since they have a PA that plays music at the park I am thinking of asking Truman the Park Manager if we can play music and what media format it uses.
I am putting together a list of songs that might fit in with the theme of the game anyone have any request? _________________ Proudly Sponsored by Save Phace

It's all you man, just let me know if you have any trouble finding them. Something tells me that one of those stinky asian supermarkets in Mira Mesa will probably have them. _________________ There's someone in the gift shop!!!

I was very Nervous. I had to follow after Eric Angler who helps produce and General the largest Scenario game in the world then to little ol me talking about our game at Giant Alpine. Good news there were lots of people online though
I just found an AWESOME Program that lets me convert you tube into mp3's.
I just made a ton of music from the Video game and the holy grail movie _________________ Proudly Sponsored by Save Phace

SoCal Ghost,
I would like to personally thank you all for hosting and producing this game. I was pretty much drained from the heat, running and gunning during Blue's Saturday game. However, the Castle Mania game was so entertaining and such a laugh riot; it made getting suited up and getting shot up again well worth it. As part of the Southwest Regulators, we with OCMI were planning to play a nice relaxing game of Defending the Castle (Both teams were on the attackers' side Saturday), none the less, Princess Dedra had other plans for us . The Southwest Regulators and OCMI played as part of the Attackers.
Loved entering the game fighting just to get to a piece of cover and having to fight just to get to the first prop. Forced our adrenaline up and forced both scenario teams to take charge. It may have looked like the Attackers nabbed the props with ease, but we had to organize on the fly and coordinate our attacks without any prior planning. We planned our attacks and movements on the fly. We had to coordinate our troops as fast as we could. Loved the dynamic structure of the game as a whole. The refs were great, and on the ball with all the objectives.
The costumes were great. Skeletor, I understand that you, your pointy (limpy) wizard hat, and bushy beard are to blame for the chaos that occurred on Sunday. That would make you Directly responsible for the ALL the fun that was had there too. From what I saw there was LOTS of fun in the chaos, so please take this as a most excellent complement. Robotech, the Ka-nigget in black, kept the banter going at the spawn point. I never got the name of your "squire," but I am sure that he will become a great paintball player soon. Finally got to see the inside of the castle after two days of fighting at the end of the game Sunday. Arthur, King of the Britons, I say go find that silly Frenchman with his "...Outrageous Accent..." and get your money back. He sold you a swamp with a castle on top. How are you going to show the oppression inherent in the system with a place like that? Princess Dedra kept her composure and stayed royal and stately even in all that nasty heat and fighting. Everybody were under goggles so I was unable to recognize anyone. The Monty Python motif made taunts and bad puns a moral imperative. I hope the bad puns and taunts were as entertaining to you as it was for me to use them on the field.
I did not hear a single negative about the game from anyone there. Again, thank you for producing a wonderful game.

First of all, I have to thank you and the other players who enjoyed themselves. Our goal is to put on fun games (that we would want to play) that give players a good time. It's this kind of feedback that makes all the effort going in to the game worth all of the stress & sweat.
Speaking selfishly as an amateur game promoter, I love having teams like yours (OCMI, etc) who play hard, honest and act as role models for all the other players AND then share feedback after it's over.
Those of us who dressed up (excl Skelly cuz he had to run the game), we tried to stay in character most of the day to add to the overall geekiness of the event. As the King, everytime someone came up and asked "who's in there" I just said "Arthur, King of the Britons", dorky I know, but how else could I bust out my favorite lines from the movie. Special thanks to the guy who asked me who I was and then said "but I didn't vote for you?"...
Skelly did a great job taking the lead on this game, I'm taking the lead on the December game as we do the Nazi Zombie theme. It will also feature some nerdy elements, but the focus will stay on making sure players enjoy themselves, the objectives are easy to understand and lots of opportunity to play the them out in a way that's fun for you.
I hope the Regulators can make it out to our next one! _________________ There's someone in the gift shop!!!
I just wanted to pop in and thank you all for such an outstanding game. I gotta be honest and tell you that I was kind of worried how this game would compare to Blue's. That all went away when the whistle blew and we had to fight our way to the first prop. Man what a rush. I had so much adrenaline going I managed to grab the first 2 props and something that ended up being a trash can. lol (Yes, Skelly, that was me.)
I've watched the way OCMI & SWR work together for a couple of years now and to be a part of that was something special. Especially when both teams came together to take the final prop.
My favorite moment of the day was finding out that a rental player won the morning game. That's so cool.

Oh no kidding; he was a rental player? At the end Prop 10 was snagged by me. OCMI and the Regulators worked our way up to finally take it. Checkyer6, I think, made the first run, but got tagged, so I tried on the second run. I snagged it from the bunker, and handed it to the nearest kid. All I remember is that the kid has a Japanese setting sun bandanna/headband that can be seen through his goggle. He looked fast and was all over the field. So I handed the Holy Hand-grenade (Prop 10) to him and asked him to run it in. I blinked and he was more than half way there.
I never knew he was a newbie with a rental. I guess we made his day.
