So Cal Ghosts and Giant Paintball Bring you Our next BIG GAME.
This game is different then anything our team has done in the past.
First it will be a huge Attack and Defend game where one team assaults the castle while the other team defends it.
Second the best part is we can get a friend of yours a discounted entry fee of $10 plus get them FREE rental gear. All that is left is the paint!!!
Here how it works:
1.)You go to http://www.socalghosts.com/ And make an account.
2.)Send Skeletor ( ME) a PM with your name and e-mail address plus the name and e-mail address of a friend you want to take paintballing.
You then will be put on a list to receive a discounted coupon when you register the day of the game.
This will get your friend into the Big Game for $10 + FREE rental gear!!! We only have 24 coupons so it will be a first come first serve.
This is how it breaks down. You pay $25 Your Friend pays $10+ gets FREE Rental Gear. You split a case of paint for $35. Total that’s $70. Split that with your buddy and it comes to $35 for the 2 of you, 1000 rounds each and your buddy gets free rental gear!!!!
You wont find a better deal for a day of paintballin!!!!!

Hey Skelly, I am still new to the giant parks, help me out abit, are there 2 parks in the area, one in Alpine and one in Lakeside/Barona, or are they the same field? The flyer says the game is at Lakeside/Barona, but (please forgive my stupidity if I am wrong) , please clear this up for me. _________________ " You cannot kill what you did not create"

Here is the official low down
There are 2 fields
Giant Alpine
and
Giant Lakeside/Barona
This game will be at Giant Alpine.
Now as far as the picture confusion both feilds have a Ghost Town and a castle. Alpines Ghosts town is made of all wood and "Barona's" ghost town is made out of the large metal shipping crates with western facade on the front. The castle at "Barona" is pretty much the same design as the castle at Apline but a little smaller.
Both parks have a completely different terrain set up and are completely different to play on.
The Alpine field realy lends itself for a Big Game format. _________________ Proudly Sponsored by Save Phace

it's time to start getting the word out on this one so it doesn't get lost in the flurry of other games that seem to have popped up lately.
I just got it posted on the Spec Ops Brigade & the ANSgear forums, we need to get some flyers out there now.
TD are you making copies for us? Skelly is Fred hooking us up? _________________ Adding to the mob mentality

Print out flyers and stick'em on cars in the parking lot.
I plan on doing that at Mira Mesa High and dropping some off at the teen center. _________________ Proudly Sponsored by Save Phace

Here are the official rules of Castlemainia. Everyone that plans on attending or is involved in the game please read this. You will be responsible for understanding the Game format
Castle Mainia
Game logistics
Attackers Vs Defenders 2:1 ratio
Players must check in with the Princess to find out which side they are on before playing.
MAIN OBJECTIVE: Remove the Crown from the King within 2.5 hours. The KING will be inside the castle and be in charge of Defender reinsertion.
ATTACKERS: Insert every 10 min from the staging Area at Alpine near the gray city area.
They must collect 10 props in order and deliver them to the WIZARD before they can cross the barrier surrounding the castle. Once they have collected all 10 props(Think: ingredients) The WIZARD will "cast a spell" to remove the barrier. Then ATTACKERS may begin entering the castle.
If a player is shot while holding a prop they must drop it where they were shot.
DEFENDERS: Reinsert every 5 min from inside the small building inside the castle (THIS MAY CHANGE DEPENDING ON THE NUMBER OF PLAYERS). They may bring cases of paint with them. They can go anywhere they want to defend the props on the field.
DEFENDERS MAY NOT TOUCH THE PROPS
DEFENDERS will have at least 2 mortars they can use to launch nerf rockets from inside the castle walls which have a 10 ft kill radius. Any player firing a Mortar must have a ref in position next to them before firing a rocket.
Defenders may use inflatable bunkers and move them to various openings in the castle. However they must inflate them. Defenders may not roll bunkers and use as traveling cover. They have to pick them up and place them in a stationary position.
Defenders may use deployable bunkers which are large Beach Umbrellas. They may use these as shields.
Defenders may combine inflatable and deployable bunkers to create one large Bunker and close off an entrance to the castle.
No deployable Bunker at any time may leave the outside of the castle.
Times:
players on the field - 9:30am
Game 1= 2.5 hours - 9:45am-12:15pm
Lunch 30min - 12:15pm-12:45pm
players on the field - 1pm
Game 2= 2.5 hours - 1:15pm-3:45pm
Game times need to be very prompt regardless of players getting their gear together. The game will be live with or with out them.
Props:
1.) Skull
2.) Eye of Newt
3.) Intestines of A Giant
4.) Baby Dragon
5.) Elven Armor
6.) Herring
7.) Shrubbery
8.) Shrunken Heads
9.) Pouch of Ogres teeth
10.) Holy Hand Grenade _________________ Proudly Sponsored by Save Phace

I'm envious that I'll be helping to run the game and not playing in it. It's going to be awesome! _________________ Proudly Sponsored by Save Phace
