October 6, 2003-Rhodesia
Its been five years since my brother Danny died trying to save the runaway prisoner Solomon Vandy. I tried for weeks to convince the leader of the RUF (Revolutionary United Force) to let me into their borders to find Danny's body so I could bring him home but they kept coming up with excuses why I couldn't. Before Danny left for Liberia he sent me a postcard, all it said was "My body of knowledge has always been cartography." At first I didn't understand what he was trying to tell me, it puzzled me for weeks why my usually straight forward no nonsense brother would send me such a cryptic message. Then one day while I was driving home it hit me like a truck. A map.
I remember back to my last telephone conversation with Danny, he told me that he needed to show me something. Something that would give us a fortune beyond our wildest imagination. He wouldn't say much more than that over the telephone. He said people were watching him and he was being followed. But that he made a map and put it in the safest place possible. I think he tattooed the map on himself.
Whatever it is he wanted to show me, I can't find it unless I can get to Danny's body.
October 10, 2003-Rhodesia
I read in the paper that the government of Sierra Leone hired a mercenary outfit called Executive Results to combat the RUF running amok in the countryside. I did some research and discovered that these Executive Results guys are a tough crowd. The company has some pretty deep pockets and their hands are in almost every research and development project for the Department of Defense. I wouldn't be surprised if they played just as dirty as the RUF. ER bills itself as a company that specializes in the eradication of particularly stressful problems. I call them assassins, liars and thieves. No better than the RUF.
December 14, 2003-Rhodesia
Apparently the head of Executive Results didn't like the way the leader of Sierra Leone was running things so he staged a coup, taking over the government and putting a price on the head of every RUF member. The RUF in turn, put out an order to kill on sight any mercenary sporting the Executive Results logo. I find this amusing. Maybe I can use the chaos to my advantage and somehow get into Sierra Leone to get my brother's body.
January 11, 2004-Liberia
I was able to find passage into Liberia with a documentary crew posing as one of the camera men. Our truck broke down in a village called Shenge. By Fortune or Fate I ran into a family member of the guy that my brother gave up his life to save. I hoped that he could give me some clue as to what Danny was hiding but the man wouldn't budge. So I invited him to the local bar. It wasn't long before he told me that Solomon Vandy had come back to Shenge a few weeks ago and stayed with his family for two days. It was then that Solomon told him about the Infinite Prism. Apparently its some legendary stone that was discovered in the 1800s but somehow lost during the local civil wars. Its location was speculated and rumored about for decades. After some time, it simply became a myth. A myth that Danny was trying to find.
January 14, 2004-London
After hearing about the Infinite Prism I called an old friend in London who specializes in geology and asked if he could tell me anything about the Prism. He became very hush hush and said he didn't want to speak on the phone anymore about it and asked if I could see him. I lied to the film crew and told them that I had a dying relative back home and had to leave the country immediately. I took the first flight out of Liberia to London.
My friend gave me a very thorough and academic lesson on the history of Sierra Leone's ongoing civil war and the use of Conflict Diamonds, or Blood Diamonds, as a means of currency. Very recently, the leading diamond distributor in the world, DeCours began conducting geological surveys in the areas of Sierra Leone where the Prism was rumored to have been lost. It would seem that DeCours' pockets are just as deep as Executive Results. In fact, I would say they share the same pants as I was told that DeCours recently hired Executive Results to ensure that all areas were cleared of RUF forces where they would be doing their surveys. The RUF all but gave up fighting ER as they thought they the ground they were fighting over was void of anything potentially valuable. Then somehow the RUF got wind that DeCours and ER were looking for the Prism and suddenly the RUF started to flood the surey areas with more soldiers.
Seems like everyone wants this Infinite Prism. When I asked why is it so important, my friend told me that it possess very unique chemical and physical properties unlike anything else on earth. That major corporations would be willing to pay millions just for a piece of it to conduct research. That and it's also a 900 karat diamond.
January 28, 2004-Sierra Leone
I made it inside Sierra Leone. Now all I need to do is find my brother's body to tell me where the diamond is exactly. I don't much care which side I'm on, I'll go with whoever can pay the most and get me to my brother.
The hunt for fame and glory is on! Will you side with the bloody revolutionaries of the RUF or the cutthroat mercenaries of Executive Results? Will you help Archer locate his brother or use him to get the Infinite Prism for yourself? There are no good guys when greed and riches are the only objectives. Choose a side to join the carnage at Giant Alpine Paintball Park on March 6 and 7, 2010.

Night Game:
Deep Down in the Kono Mines the 2 ruthless mercenary forces mine for Diamonds to fund their war. As they try to mine resources the 2 forces have found each other and are forced to take up arms in the darkness.
Teams objectives:1.) Collect as many Diamonds as possible through out the night and return them to their base each Diamond is worth 20K for their general to use on Sunday
2.) Capture a Geological Surveyor and bring him back to your base. With a Geo Surveyor you team gets plus 2K for every Diamond returned. If you Capture both Surveyors then you prevent the other team from getting their bonus _________________ Proudly Sponsored by Save Phace

RUF ROLES:
Colonel Poison: General
You were taken from your family as a young boy and have lived most of your life as a soldier in the RUF. You do not understand the concepts of mercy or sympathy. Greed has always been your religion and you have made it the center of your daily life. However, you also understand that in the kind of environment you've created that assassins and jealous officers are just waiting for you to make that one fatal mistake that will cost you your regime and your life. Your level of paranoia has risen to new heights in the recent months. You trust no one. You have no friends, no alliances. Your only goal is to get your hands on the Infinite Prism to establish your authority once and for all. And after that, you plan on giving the assassins and betrayers a taste of their own medicine.
Captain Zero: XO
You and the Colonel have been friends ever since you met in the young men's RUF training facility. As of late, you grow tired of the Colonel and his brutal tactics. You don't think its enough! The country must be brought to it's knees if its going to get ahead in the 21st century. Only through the hard back-breaking labor of the common people do you believe that you will finally be able to stand up to the power of more modern nations. It is not beyond you to countermand your leader because you want to make your leader look incompetent in the hope that you will garner support to overthrow him and establish your own kingdom. The Infinite Prism holds power. Power in the form of money. Enough money to build your own army and maybe buy a nuke or two on the black market.
Commander Rambro: Demo
As a young boy you found a small wooden crate left behind by some irresponsible UN soldiers. You took it home and began to discover the contents of that crate and its amazing properties. You first took to making small craters in the fields behind your home. You soon escalated to seeing the effects this material would have on the local chickens. It wasn't long before you introduced chicken nuggets to your friends. When your father discovered the crate and asked you where you found the C4, you snatched the crate and hid it outside the village. Everyday you experimented with various mixtures and combinations to obtain the highest level of explosive force in the smallest bit of material. You became obsessed with chemistry and the physics of kinetic energy. All your learning and experimentation was successfully celebrated when you blew up half your village, taking out your family as well in the blast. Colonel Poison took notice of your talent and recruited you into the RUF where you continue to delight in mass destruction.
Jessie: Solomon's Son Medic
When your father left to go on his diplomatic missions for the UN to plead the world to stop the purchase of conflict diamonds, it left a huge gap in your life. He was gone a lot. However, that gap was filled by the horrors of an ongoing conflict that saw countless wounded and seriously maimed people. You couldn't stand by and not help the helpless. So you took it upon yourself to assist the nurses and doctors that visited the local Red Cross centers around the area. You were soon well learned in how to treat trauma victims and took your knowledge to the field. You saved many lives. However, during one particular mission with the Red Cross you were ambushed and captured by Colonel Poison. Because you had treated some of his men in the field he spared your life in exchange for your loyalty in serving his men when they are wounded. You look forward to the day when you can escape or perhaps drop a poison pill or two into the Colonel's coffee.
Dia: Engineer
The experience of having been a boy solider for the RUF never left you completely. You missed the days of being able to do what you wanted, whenever you wanted. You left home and rejoined the RUF at the earliest opportunity after you turned 18. Since returning, you observed the many structural deficiencies in the Colonel's personal bunker and made suggestions on how to improve them. The Colonel was so impressed he offered to pay for you to go to a university to further your interest in structural engineering. After graduating with top honors you returned to your home in Sierra Leone and was welcomed like a son by the Colonel. You took your education and fortified all the buildings within the Colonel's main compound. For your efforts he made you the Chief Engineer of the RUF. He charged you with the rebuilding of his empire to make it stronger than ever!

Colonel Theo Coetsee: General
Born with a golden spoon in your mouth, you were never wanting for anything. It didn't matter what it was, your family had the power and money to buy anything. When your father passed away you inherited the family weapons manufacturing dynasty and watered it lovingly with the blood of the guilty and innocent alike. Money is like a drug and Power an intoxicating mistress. You craved both excessively. A few years ago, you created Executive Results with the simple goal of undermining existing governments in developing countries, exploiting their own greed to fuel your own. It was through careful planning and manipulation that you were able to secure a contract with the Sierra Leone government. Once there a carefully orchestrated coup allowed you to take over the capital and establish yourself as the new Supreme Dictator. Your next move is to find a means of financing your newly acquired country and to establish it as the world premiere weapons manufacturer.
Joost: XO
A military brat, you moved around frequently growing up. Never having a permanent home forced you to learn how to adapt quickly in a new environment in order to survive. Growing up in what can only be called the worst places in civilized society, life was never easy as you were always the brunt of daily beatings and humiliation. You promised yourself that one day you would pay the world back for robbing you of a normal childhood. When you were 18 you joined the S.A.S where you reveled in the torturous and rigid training regimen that makes the S.A.S one of the best special ops forces in the world. Throughout your tours of duty you relished in the dishing out of cruel punishment to prisoners and enemy combatants alike. Of course, when no one was watching.
However, you were dishonorably discharged after a failed mission when you disobeyed orders and opened fire on a group of unarmed rebels. Theo Coetsee saw in you the kind of soldier he needed to lead his mercenaries and brought you aboard Executive Results. Bring Coetsee the results he wants, he has the money to buy all the body bags you need.
Minister Somora: Demo
Your title of Minister is not a political one. You were a former member of the clergy and taught Honors Advanced Chemistry at St. Ambrosia's Military School for Boys. One morning during a quiet jog along the lake near the school grounds, you had a revelation that teaching was simply not for you. That you were destined for bigger things, and more specifically a bigger paycheck. After several years you found yourself in Africa, preaching at local missionaries but still dabbling in the occasional chemistry experiment. Africa seemed the perfect place to acquire illegal and hard to find materials. Every night you sequestered yourself in a remote shack creating a vast collection of mischief and explosive mayhem. You were the creator of the first Apple in a Pineapple Grenade, a grenade within a grenade that Executive Results found to be intriguing. They offered you a post in their Sierra Leone outpost where you diligently work to create more masterpieces of destruction. In the field, it is customary for others to see you praying over a grenade or land mine, even blessing an RPG so that it can deliver more souls to their heavenly resting place.
Chief Resident Walker: Medic
Once the Chief Resident of Trauma Medicine at one of the most prestigious hospitals in the world, you were stripped of your license to practice medicine during a botched unapproved and untested surgical procedure. Devoted to bringing your new, if not gruesome, surgical techniques to the world you continue to practice medicine in the poorer countries of the world where you know there are no laws and no committees to threaten your work. You gravitated to the war torn country of Sierra Leone where you knew they were in dire need of medical experts to care for the wounded in their ongoing civil war. You used this to your advantage, excusing your horrific medical procedures as advanced, cutting edge techniques. Lately you have been taking a particular liking to the epidermal healing qualities of duct tape and hot tar to cauterize wounds. With no other trauma surgeon in the area Executive Results has reluctantly agreed to have you on retainer as their Chief Medical Officer.
Roland Simmons: Engineer
In your youth you won the Erector Grand Championship by constructing a fully functional space shuttle out of the bits and pieces of several Erector boxes. Your creativity and knowledge with regard to structural and civil engineering has been hailed by those in the field as legendary. But to you, those accomplishments were just side projects. Your real passion is to be the first person to colonize another planet. To that end you requested a position with Executive Results knowing that not only did they have really deep pockets but they also have access to the most cutting edge technology in government space colonization projects. You yearn to break from the chains of the lowly neanderthals that inhabit this planet and start your own super-intelligent civilization. Hey guys sorry to keep bombarding you with info about the game but this is actually the most important post........The rules
The rules for our game are a little different so please take the time to read them and become familiar with our game format. I will be going over them on the day of the game and I will have copies to give to people so no excuses for not understanding how the game works. When you sign that wavier to play you are also agreeing to read and understand these rules.
If you have any questions please let me know and I will answer to the best of my ability. The team has proof read them and the Generals are also experts so all involved with the game will be on the same page.
