For those interested in going. 4 day passes are sold out and Saturday is almost gone. How crazy is it they sell out middle of March. I had to buy individual day passes. I've never had to do that and I've been going for years. Last year was nuts, so if this is any indication as to what to expect this year I'm thinking chaos! Who's with me? _________________

We are looking at just taking the kids on Sunday. With Roxane possibly losing her job we're being picky about where we spend our money.
The sellout in March means, I think, it's going to be freaking nuts this year.
Sad, I kinda miss the old Comic Con when it was just nerds and geeks. Now its "cool" to be at the Con. |

for those of you who made it, this was a pretty good Con this year. Nasferatu & I bought our passes for next year already - they are now $100 for 4 day w/preview night.
So on Masquerade day, Nasferatu & I saw a bunch of guys dressed as Team Fortress 2 characters, several spies and a group of about 5 guys who were the sniper, spy, scout, engineer and pyro - they were sweet costumes, that would be a cool idea for the Ghosts at the Con next year! _________________ There's someone in the gift shop!!!

Not sure if this is still secret info or not...
Next year will only have 25,000 4 day passes avail
And.. the first 15,000 will have access to preview night.
On Sunday; there were already 8,000 people who had bought passes for 2010.. so buy ASAP if you think you're gonna go! |

Man 4 day passes where 65 $ last year.
All the more reason for us to start seriously thinking about setting a booth on the mezzanine next to the fan tables or if we can Gio to pay for a spot on the floor we could make some serious cash sealing patches, t shirts, tickets to our events, and park passes.
I have some more good ideas if we are interested in doing it.
I bet the Freeman unionworkers wanted more money so they jacked up the price.
Those guys are so spoiled you should see the cool toys they get to drive around to set stuff up.
One of these years I should take pictures of the serial experience of watching the con being set up and torn down.
It takes 2 and a half days to go from a huge empty concrete warehouse to fun and then for tear down it is gone in like 3 hours poof _________________ Proudly Sponsored by Save Phace

| I used to do the inventory @ GES Exposition.. the compant in CHula Vista that decks up the conf center for the big events like the con and autoshow. Truly an amazing place. |
