The Ghosts Take On The Velocity Christmas Big Game

On Saturday December 17th, 2011 join the Ghosts as we run the annual Velocity Paintball Big Game in Ramona. This successful event has been in place for several years now, but this year is different - this year, it's run by the SoCal Ghosts!

Join us as the Ghosts split duties with some of us playing and some reffing. If you've played it in the past, you'll see the changes we made with the rules and missions. The Ghosts Welcome Our Newest Member - Hookstar!

We were lucky enough to meet Hookstar on our site earlier this year and encouraged him to come check out the scenario community in his new home in SoCal. After playing with us in the RAP4 event and then some walk on play at Miramar, we knew this guy was a good fit for our team.

He's a seasoned player and a former member of a team in Okinowa. He will be joining us for DON V in August as the Ghosts switch sides to UNA this year. Welcome to the team!

Ghosts Sponsor RPLL Tball A's

This season the Ghosts continue our mission to give back to the community by supporting Rancho Penasquitos Little League. The Ghosts are sponsoring the A's Tball team. The sponsorship will allow the 14 boys, aged 5&6 to experience the fun of playing baseball and all the benefits of being part of a team.

We wish the boys luck as many of them are playing organized sports for the first time in their lives. With Ghosts Jetski (manager) and Abomb (coach) on board, the boys are in for a great time and hopefully will be future Ghosts recruits in another 5 or so years... Go A's!

SoCal Ghosts Welcome Our Newest Member - Mad Marty

We welcome our newest member and scenario veteran, Mad Marty, as a member of the SoCal Ghosts. It's an honor to bring on a seasoned and respected player like Marty. He was previously a member of the Caltrop Guerillas before they dissolved a couple years ago. He has a reputation as a skilled, hard working and honorable player.

Marty should be joining us at our next events in April.

Welcome Aboard the Newest Ghost - Whistler

The SoCal Ghosts would like to welcome our newest teammate - Whistler.

He's been a paintballer off and on for many years, but this year took it up again with a passion while playing with the Ghosts and enjoying the camaraderie that comes with being a part of this team. He just recently played in his first scenario, Decay of Nations IV, and will hopefully be playing in a few more before this year is up.

Please welcome Wayne, aka Whistler, as the newest member of San Diego's premier scenario paintball team!

Join the Ghosts at Decay of Nations IV, Aug 20-22, 2010

The date is getting closer! The Ghosts will be joining over 30 other scenario teams at Decay of Nations IV at SC Village on 8/20-22.

The Ghosts will be fighting on the side of Ekron this year in an epic battle of good vs oil. Look for our costumes, you can't miss us! The Ghosts are also the official tank/PUG inspectors for this game, so all vehicles need to be taken to the Ghosts camp (in the tent camping area)for final game inspection. See you on the field!

SoCal Ghosts Host Blood Diamond III @ Giant Alpine

Mark you calendars! March 6 & 7, 2010, the SoCal Ghosts host Blood Diamond III - the Infinite Prism at Giant Alpine. This event is sponsored by Giant Paintball and Save Phace, the world's sickest tactical mask!

In the 3rd installment of this series the game takes a twist, this time there are no good guys in the battle for the valuable diamond known as the Infinite Prism.

The hunt for fame and glory is on! Will you side with the bloody revolutionaries of the RUF or the cutthroat mercenaries of Executive Results? Will you help Archer locate his brother or use him to get the Infinite Prism for yourself? There are no good guys when greed and riches are the only objectives.

Welcome To Our 2 New Ghosts in July...

As team captain I get the honor of announcing our newest team members as each one makes it through the process of membership. Their sponsors have done an excellent job finding our new teammates, so without further adieu, here they are:

Busterdude, aka Justin, first impressed the team with his medic skills at Road Warriors I earlier this year. He's been playing with us ever since and has even helped ref Castlemania back on July 12th. A solid player, full of hustle, loves the game and plays with honor (the perfect Ghost!) - Welcome Busterdude!

Grant, son of Robotech and in need of a callsign, joins the ranks of the junior Ghosts contingent. He loves being out on the field with his dad and the rest of the Ghosts and has a lot of enthusiasm. He'll help keep the Ghosts going for the long term as us older Ghosts head off to the paintball retirement home - Welcome Grant!

Adopt A Beach Event - May 23rd

Attention Ghosts and friends: May 23rd at 11am is our next adopt a beach cleanup event at our adopted beach, Mission Bay Park & Marina.

Everyone meet at the usual parking lot at 11am, we'll pass out bags, etc and hope to get working no later than 11:30. After the adopt a beach event will be a team lunch & meeting to prepare for Castlemania. Oggi's worked out great last time, so let's do that again - see you there!

Welcome Aboard the Newest Ghost - Anyillator

The Ghosts continue to grow as we welcome Anyillator into the fold!

Anyillator, aka Austin, just took up paintball as a serious hobby in the last year and has developed into a great player. We first met him in January at Viper's Road Warriors scenario where he impressed everyone with his medic skills. He followed up on his introductory period at Big Game 14 and then the Iwo Jima Big Game where he played medic again.

He plays an aggressive style that compliments our mix of younger & older Ghosts. He also happens to be a great medic/role player and not afraid of jumping into an outmanned battle. Welcome to the team Austin - hope to see you out there again soon!
