Velocity Big Game 3 - CHARITY EVENT!

Ghosts Fundraiser on Ebay

We have another fundraiser going on! The Ghosts have a couple different community events coming up that need some funds.

Jetski is following up on our garden project for the kids from Deer Canyon Elementary in Rancho Penasquitos and Vector just got us signed up for Adopt a Beach and we got Black's Beach in/near La Jolla!

Getting Our Photo Albums Updated

We're getting our photo albums up to date. Unfortunately we didn't get pics from the last few Velocity Big Games, but hopefully we will for #3 in May.

So Long Corpsuit...

I just got the official word that Corpsuit is leaving SoCal for a job in Washington DC. He's one of the older Ghosts, joining the team shortly after we formed and chose our name. He has played many private games & scenarios with us over the years including turns as XO and General at some BlackCat games.

He is forced to miss the Blood Diamond game in April so he can find a place to live out there, so we may not be able to squeeze in one last game before he leaves, unless we can talk him into coming out to the Pump & Pistol game in early April. I believe his last day in SoCal will be April 24th, so be sure to get your goodbyes & goodlucks in before then.

Maybe we can talk him into typing up some details about where he's going & what he'll be doing in DC... (that's your cue man!)

This Just In...

The Ghosts will be leading the reffing crew for Giant Alpine's first scenario event - Blood Diamond on April 19-20, 2008.

If you've played paintball in the San Diego area for a few years, you may remember Weekend Warriors. Now under new ownership and recently remodeled and expanded, it is now known as Giant Alpine, still right next door to Viejas Casino.

Our friends from OCMI will be training a crack reffing crew from the other SC Village/Giant parks to come down and ref alongside the Ghosts to help put on a scenario event to remember. If you want great prizes, fun missions and a target rich environment, then come out to join in the fun.

Black Cat's "24" Scenario at Fort Ord

I hope as you read this that you're planning to come for what should be a legendary game - the last scenario event ever at the retired military base at Fort Ord in Marina, CA on March 1st & 2nd.

About a half dozen Ghosts will be making the drive to the Monterey Peninsula to play in the 2 story barracks at Ft Ord. This game will be one to remember!

Ghosts Host Big Game 10!

A number of the Ghosts will help host the TENTH, yes it's really been that many, the tenth Big Game at Jungle Island in Lake Elsinore.

Please join us for Big Game #10 on Sunday, February 10th, 2008 (the Sunday after the Super Bowl) along with a few hundred of your closest friends to shoot each other up, including a special football themed final battle!

Our friend Pickle has asked us to keep the game going in his absence. He'll be back soon to take over what has become an institution in So Cal paintball. We'll see you there!

Welcome Aboard to the Newest Ghost - MajorTom!

Rob, aka MajorTom, started playing with the Ghosts earlier this year as a guest of Skeletor. He has already played several private games, Big Games and even a scenario (Decay of Nations at SC Village) with us before finally deciding to join the Ghosts.

The Ghosts are getting another solid player and all around good guy. Like the rest of us, he got bit by the paintball bug, then had to start buying all the gear, clothing & accessories. We're looking forward to continue growing the Ghost roster in '08 with more guys (and maybe gals!) just like MajorTom.

Be sure to welcome him aboard officially at our next event!
